Likhit Pro — Driving License Preparation App for Nepal

Likhit Pro is an offline-first mobile application designed to help users prepare for the Nepal Department of Transportation Management (DoTM) driving license examination (written exam and trial practice). This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

About this app

Likhit Pro works entirely offline. All study content, questions, traffic signs, and images are bundled with the app and stored on your device. No data is sent to our servers during normal use of the app.

Information we collect locally

The following information is stored locally on your device only and does not leave your phone or tablet:

• Your study progress (which questions you have attempted, which you answered correctly, and when)
• Quiz and mock exam attempt history
• Your learning state (lessons read, quizzes passed, mastery status)
• Your preferences (language, vehicle track selection, theme, and onboarding status)
• Daily study streak information
• Mock exam history and results

All of this data remains on your device. You control it entirely and can delete it by uninstalling the app or clearing the app’s local storage.

Optional third-party services

If you choose to install the app from an official app store (Google Play or Apple App Store), Google Firebase services may be optionally enabled:

• Firebase Analytics: Helps us understand how users interact with the app (which features are used, how long sessions last, etc.). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Automatically reports app crashes and errors so we can fix stability issues. Crash reports may include device type, app version, and stack traces.
• Firebase Hosting: Hosts this privacy policy and other web content on Firebase servers.

If you are concerned about analytics, you can also adjust your device-level privacy settings to limit data sharing.

Your study progress and quiz answers are never sent to Google or any third party, even if Firebase is enabled. They remain stored locally on your device.

What we do not do

• We do not require you to create an account or log in.
• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or other personal identifying information.
• We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with advertisers or other third parties.
• We do not use advertising or behavioral targeting in this app.
• We do not share your study progress or quiz results with anyone, including schools or testing authorities.

Data retention and deletion

Your study progress and preferences are stored locally on your device and remain there until you delete them. You can delete all app data at any time by:

• Uninstalling the app (on iOS), or
• Going to Settings > Apps > Likhit Pro > Storage > Clear Data (on Android)

Security

Your study data is stored securely on your device using the app framework’s built-in local storage (Hive and shared_preferences on Flutter). We do not transmit sensitive data over the internet. If you use biometric or passcode protection on your device, it also protects this app’s data.

Children’s privacy

This app is designed for anyone preparing for a driving license in Nepal (typically ages 16 and up). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using this app, please monitor their privacy settings and device security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as the app evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
